If you are reading this, you have found my digital resume!
This resume was developed by me and is hosted using Microsoft Azure Services.
I am a passionate and experienced IT worker. I'm very familiar with the education and technology support industry, with over seven years
experience providing technology support for school systems across east
Tennessee. I am looking to expand my knowledge and challenging
myself in new areas while I continue to learn each day.
In my free time, I am an avid reader and a "dog dad" to a spoiled beagle mix. I also take great joy
in personal technology projects, like this site. Whenever I learn something new that may be helpful for others,
I like to write the details up in a blog post on EdTechIRL.com.
Currently, I am the System Admin for the school district. I am have been leading the efforts of getting all of our devices managed in Microsoft Intune and being Azure AD Joined. Along with this, I am working to improve our device management by automating our daily workflow, device hardening, and make changes that improve the overall end user experience. I am also involved with our VMware server infrastructure and continuing to learn more about it each day.
This position has two main roles. I am the top level technician support for nine schools. The other role is a mild systems administrator role. I am over the school's MDM servers and over the Azure infrastructure as we switch over to cloud domain services for device management.
When I was Lead Elementary Technician, I was in charge of providing technology support to the three Elementary Schools, with the help of 3 trained teachers assistants. These schools were one to one with each student having an iPad. We managed these using FileWave MDM.
At Central Technologies, I was in charge of providing third party technology support for Sevier County Schools. I would travel between the 28 public schools providing additional support, along with dropping off and picking up repair laptops.
Through a series of temporary positions and community service volunteer hours, I worked with Maryville City Schools and collaborated with the IT team to troubleshoot issues, re-image devices, and play my part in making sure the goals of the iReach department were met.
